Additional Land Near Motupiko Taken for the Purposes of the Midland Railway

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Midland Railway.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 17 perches.
Being Crown land, being formerly road closed by a Proclamation dated the 23rd day of March, 1950, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 1950, page 365.

Situated in Waimea County. (S.O. 9619.)

In the Nelson Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10393, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of August, 1950.

Land Taken, Subject as to Part to an Easement of Drainage and Other Easements, for Health Purposes (District Nurse's Residence) in the Borough of Featherston

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken, subject to an easement of drainage and other easements created by Deed No. 119798.(221/427), Wellington Land Registry, for health purposes (district nurse's residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st day of August, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 36·11 perches.
Being part Section 270, Town of Featherston.

Situated in Block III, Wairarapa Survey District, Borough of Featherston. (S.O. 22116.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132042, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of August, 1950.

Land Taken for a Recreation-ground in the City of Auckland

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a recreation-ground and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 21st day of August, 1950.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land taken:—

2 2 21·5 Allotment 16, Section 4, Suburbs of Auckland; coloured yellow.
2 2 15·9 Part Allotment 25, Section 4, Suburbs of Auckland; coloured blue.

Situated in Block VIII, Rangitoto Survey District (City of Auckland) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 35779.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132075, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 15th day of August, 1950.
