- The Canadian Goose (Branta canadensis) shall, with respect to the North Canterbury Acclimatization District, be deemed to cease to be included in the Second Schedule (Imported Game) to the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, in that portion of the said district lying to the westward of the South Island Main Trunk railway line.

The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 35, dated 9th June, 1949, relative to temp. Captain H. G. R. Tolley, is hereby cancelled and the following substituted :—
