124 (6) .. .. Sodium hydroxide (caustic soda), on declaration that it will be used only in the manufacture of sheep-dip.
124 (7) .. .. The following substances when crude and in bulk, namely—Ammonium sulphate, bicalcic phosphate (precipitated bone phosphate), cobalt sulphate, ferrous sulphate, potassium chloride, potassium nitrate, potassium sulphate, sodium bicarbonate (borax), sodium nitrate, 30 per cent. potash, and such other chemical substances specially suited for the manufacture of manures as the Minister may decide.
(NOTE.—These goods are regarded as “crude and in bulk” when imported in packages containing 100 lb. or over net weight.)

Metallic elements n.e.i.; oxides, hydroxides, inorganic salts n.e.i., acetates, and oxalates of aluminium, ammonia, antimony, arsenic, barium, bismuth, boron, cadmium, calcium, cerium, chromium, cobalt, copper, gold, iron, lead, lithium, magnesium, manganese, mercury, nickel, platinum, potassium, radium, silicon, silver, sodium, strontium, tin, zinc, and of the other metallic elements; metallic soaps n.e.i., [excluding oxides of zinc, ammonium hydroxide (ammonia solutions), hydrated lime (calcium hydroxide), cleansing preparations other than simple (unmixed) salts, silver nitrate, caustic soda in packages of 7 lb. or under, solutions of hypochlorites, sodium chlorate, sulphate of alumina, naphthenates of cobalt, lead, manganese, zinc, copper, and other metals; aqua ammonia, and dry white lead].
