Lemon Marketing Regulations.—Notice Fixing Prices of Certain Grades


Office of the Minister of Marketing,
Wellington, 25th July, 1950.

PURSUANT to regulation 19 of the Lemon Marketing Regulations 1946, I hereby fix the following prices per loose bushel to be paid by the Marketing Department for lemons delivered to the Department during the undermentioned period.

Period of delivery (both days inclusive): 1st August to 31st August, 1950:—

Exemption Order Under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940


PURSUANT to the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940, the Minister of Transport doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of clause (1) of regulation 7 of the said regulations so far as they relate to the driving of heavy trade motors, shall not apply to the person hereinafter mentioned, but in lieu thereof the following provision shall apply:—

A motor-driver's licence issued under the Motor-drivers Regulations 1940 to the person described in Column 1 of the Schedule hereunder may authorize him to drive a heavy trade motor in the course of his employment on a farm or market-garden of the employer described in Column 2 of the said Schedule, but shall not authorize him, while he is under the age of eighteen years, to drive a heavy trade motor for any other purpose.

Redefining Boundaries of the Borough of Papatoetoe, the County of Manukau, and the Mangere and Papatoetoe Ridings of the County of Manukau

PURSUANT to the provisions of section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the Borough of Papatoetoe are hereby defined as set out in the First Schedule hereto, the boundaries of the said borough having been altered by Order in Council made under the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, dated the 15th day of March, 1950, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 15 of the 16th day of March, 1950.

And also, in pursuance of the provisions of the said section 147 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, the boundaries of the County of Manukau affected by the said Order in Council are hereby defined as set out in the Second Schedule hereto.

And, in further pursuance of the provisions of the said section 147 of the Municipal Corporations, Act 1933, the boundaries of the Mangere and Papatoetoe Ridings of the County of Manukau affected by the said Order in Council are hereby defined as set out in the Third Schedule hereto.


FIRST SCHEDULE

BOUNDARIES OF THE BOROUGH OF PAPATOETOE

ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District containing approximately 1,587 acres, bounded by a line commencing at the northernmost corner of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered Whau 87, lodged in the Auckland Land Registry Office, being part of Fairburn's Grant No. 269A, and running south-easterly generally along the south-western side of the North Island Main Trunk Railway to a point 74·8 links distant north-west of the northern corner of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 17028, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotment 36, Parish of Manurewa; thence north-easterly generally, crossing the said railway, and along right lines bearing 39° 17′ distant 506·85 links, bearing 129° 17′ distant 219·2 links, and bearing 39° 17′ to the north-eastern boundary of part of Allotment 36, as shown on the plan numbered 15811, deposited in the Auckland Land Registry Office; thence along the aforesaid north-eastern boundary, to and along the north-western boundary of Lot 39, as shown on the plan numbered 16844, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotment 36, aforesaid, along the north-western boundary of Lot 9, the north-western end of Canborne Road, the north-western boundary of Lot 1, both the aforesaid lots being as shown on the plan numbered 19616, deposited as aforesaid, being parts of Allotments 14 and 36 of the aforesaid Parish, along the north-western boundary of Lot 20, the north-western end of Omana Road and the north-western and northern boundaries of Lot 19 and the northern boundary of Lot 6, the aforesaid lots being as shown on the aforesaid plan numbered 16884, and being parts of the aforesaid Allotment 14, along the northern boundaries of Lots 1, 2, 3 and 4 as shown on the plan numbered 19287, deposited as aforesaid, being parts of the said Allotment 14, to the southernmost corner of Lot 31, as shown on the plan numbered 36608, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotment 14, aforesaid; thence north-westerly generally along the south-western boundary of Lot 31, aforesaid, the south-western boundaries of Lots 30, 29, 28, 27, 26, 25, 24, 23, 22, 21, 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, 12, along a right line to and along the south-western boundaries of Lots 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, along the south-western and north-western boundaries of Lot 1, all the aforesaid lots being as shown on the aforesaid plan numbered 36608, and being parts of Allotments 13 and 137, of the aforesaid Parish, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced across the Great South Road to its north-eastern side; thence along the said north-eastern side to the south-west corner of the land taken for a public school by the Proclamation published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 37 of the 16th day of June, 1948, page 775, being part of Allotment 10 of the said Parish and as shown on the plan numbered 34473, lodged in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland; thence south-easterly generally along the southern boundary of the land taken as aforesaid, to and along the western and southern boundaries of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 33396, deposited as aforesaid, being portion of the said Allotment 10, to and along the western and southern boundaries generally of the land as shown on the plan numbered 21740, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotment 12, of the said Parish of Manurewa, along the western and south-eastern boundaries of Lot 1 of Block II, as shown on plan numbered 20840, deposited as aforesaid, being part of the said Allotment 12, and along the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, the north-eastern end of Motatau Road and Lot 26 of Block II, as shown on the said plan numbered 20840, being parts of the said Allotment 12, to a point in line with the northern boundary of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 36229, deposited as aforesaid, being part of the said Allotment 12, thence along a right line to and along the northern boundary of the said Lot 1 and Lots 2 and 3, as shown on the said plan 36229, and along another right line, to and along the northern boundary of Lot 1 of the scheme of subdivision of part of Allotment 12 of the aforesaid Parish and as shown on the plan numbered 3531, lodged as aforesaid, in the Office of the Chief Surveyor at Auckland, along another right line to and along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 32550, deposited as aforesaid, being part of the said Allotment 12, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced across the Papatoetoe–Howick Main Highway to its south-eastern side; thence along the south-eastern side, aforesaid, to the western corner of Lot 7, as shown on plan numbered 30135, deposited as aforesaid, being part Allotment 18 of the aforesaid Parish of Manurewa; thence along the south-western boundary of the said Lot 7, to and along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 3, as shown on plan numbered 35751, deposited as aforesaid, being part of the said Allotment 18, along a right line to and along the south-eastern boundary of Lot 1, as shown on the said plan numbered 35751,
