Land Taken for Housing Purposes in the Borough of Feilding

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of August, 1950.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 31st day of July, 1950.

Land and an Easement (Right-of-Way) over Land Taken for a Gravel-pit in Block V, Haurangi Survey District, Featherston County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a gravel-pit and shall vest in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Featherston as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also hereby proclaim and declare that an easement of right-of-way for the purpose of providing access to the said gravel-pit is hereby taken over the land described in the Second Schedule hereto vesting as from the date hereinafter mentioned in the said Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Featherston a perpetual right together with a right for their servants, workmen, contractors, or licensees to pass to and fro by day or by night on foot or with horses or vehicles over the land described in the said Second Schedule, such easement of right-of-way to be held appurtenant to the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of August, 1950.

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of July, 1950.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the portion of public reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 7th day of August, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of public reserve set apart: 3·99 perches.

Being part Rural Section 14, Woodville.

Situated in Block IV, Woodville Survey District (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2431.)

In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131951, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured sepia.
