A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken
for housing purposes; and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day of January, one
thousand nine hundred and fifty.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre.
Being Allotment 216 of the Town of Cambridge East, and being
the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate
of Title, Volume 57, folio 224 (Auckland Land Registry).
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 17th day of January, 1950.

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 47 of the
Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General
Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land
described in the Schedule hereto, now held for housing purposes, is
hereby set apart for buildings of the general Government; and I do
also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the
thirtieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and fifty.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 30·81 perches.
Being Lot 15, being part Dannevirke Suburban Section 78.
Situated in the Borough of Dannevirke (Hawke's Bay R.D.).

edged pink.

P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section forty-
seven of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I,
Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto now held
for housing purposes is hereby set apart for health purposes (district
nurse's residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation
shall take effect on and after the thirtieth day of January, one
thousand nine hundred and fifty.

SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart: 1 rood.
Being Lot 38 on D.P. No. 13191, being portion of Section 81 of
Block II of the Tapapa Survey District, and being the whole
of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title,
Volume 300, folio 54 (Auckland Land Registry).

Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare

to the Land Act, 1948.

Consenting to the Raising of a Loan of £5,200 by the North Canterbury
Catchment Board and Prescribing the Conditions Thereof

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of
December, 1949
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the North Canterbury Catchment Board (hereinafter
called the said local authority) proposes, pursuant to the
provisions of section thirty of the Soil Conservation and Rivers
Control Act, 1941, to raise a loan of five thousand two hundred
pounds (£5,200) to be known as "Plant Loan No. 2, 1949" (herein-
after called the said loan) for the purpose of purchasing plant:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance
and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred on him by
section eleven of the Local Government Loans Board Act, 1926, as
set out in section twenty-nine of the Finance Act, 1932 (No. 2),
and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf,
doth hereby consent to the raising by the said local authority of the
said loan for the said purpose up to the amount of five thousand
two hundred pounds (£5,200), and in giving such consent doth
hereby determine as follows:
(1) The term for which the said loan or any part thereof may
be raised shall not exceed eight (8) years.
