APPRENTICES : SALARY SCALES AND LODGING-ALLOWANCE—continued
- Adult Apprentices.—(i) For ex-overseas servicemen, or ex-home servicemen with long military service or who can establish loss of opportunity, or hardship owing to military service, the following scale will normally apply:—
First Year £360 per annum.
Second Year £375 "
Third Year £395 "
Fourth Year £405 "
Fifth Year £415 "
(ii) There is no standard scale for civilian adult apprentices. Rates will be fixed by the Public Service Commission on the merits of each case.
(iii) Apprentices on attaining twenty-one years of age are paid adult allowance to bring total remuneration up to £330 per annum.
(iv) Married apprentices receive married man’s allowance to bring total remuneration to £361 per annum.
