Notice of Intention to Take Land, Together with a Right-of-way Over Land, in the Borough of Takapuna, for a Post-office

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a post-office—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto together with the right-of-way over parts Lots 2 and 3, D.P. 20819, created by Memorandum of Transfer No. 391163, Auckland Land Registry, is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Takapuna and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 16 perches.

Being Lot 4, D.P. 20819, being portion of Allotment 81, Parish of Takapuna, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 838, folio 244, Auckland Land Registry.

Situated in the Borough of Takapuna (Auckland R.D.).

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 132051, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

Social Security Act, 1938.—The Drug Tariff (September, 1946), Amendment No. 8: Notice Regarding Amendments to Prescription Prices in New Zealand Formulary

ADDENDUM, 19th July, 1950, to the New Zealand Formulary:—

NEW ZEALAND FORMULARY, PART 2

The reference in this part of the New Zealand Formulary to the First Schedule to the rules of Prescription Pricing shall, where applicable, be deemed to be the Prescription Pricing Supplement 1950/3, issued by the Pharmacy Plan Industrial Committee. This amendment shall take effect with respect to all medical prescriptions and midwifery orders (whatever the date thereof) that are presented to a contractor for fulfilment on or after the 1st August, 1950.

Releasing Land From the Provisions of Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936

PURSUANT to subsection (2) of section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby revokes so far as it affects the land described in the Schedule hereto, a certain notice dated the 6th day of November, 1936, and published in New Zealand Gazette No. 75 of the 12th day of the same month, at page 2198, whereby the provisions of section 522 of the Maori Land Act, 1931 (now Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936), were applied to, inter alia, the said land, and such land is hereby excluded from the Putauaki Development Scheme.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area of land in the Waiariki Maori Land Court District, containing 270 acres, more or less, called or known as Parish of Matata, Lot 39A, Section 2B No. 2, and situate in Block IX, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District.

Declaring Land to be Subject to Part I of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936

PURSUANT to section 4 of the Maori Land Amendment Act, 1936, the Board of Maori Affairs hereby declares the land described in the Schedule hereto to be subject to Part I of the said Act, and to be included in the Hauraki Development Scheme.

SCHEDULE

ALL that area in the Waikato-Maniapoto Maori Land Court District, containing 110 acres 1 rood 0 perches, more or less, called or known as Part Hoe-o-Tainui North 6B 2F, 6B 2G 5A, 6B 2G 5B 1, and situate in Block VIII, Hapuakohe Survey District. (C.T. 693/80 Auckland Registry.)
