HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Morten Renneberg Lawson,
Francis George Woods,
Hector Henderson, and
Edward Emmanuel Timmins

to be the Mangamaire Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the 2nd day of August, 1950, at 7.30 o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Mangamaire Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Robert Joseph Culling,
Norman Harold Moar,
George Henry Passey,
George Alfred Arthur Seddon Wagstaff, and
James Daniel Galvin

to be the Pohangina Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the 29th day of July, 1950, at 2.30 o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Domain grounds, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in Block VII, Waiwera Survey District, North Auckland Land District

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for a school site:

And whereas it is expedient that the purpose of the reservation over such land shall be changed to a reserve for public purposes.

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (a) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that the purpose of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for a school site to a reserve for public purposes.

All that area, situated in Block VII, Waiwera Survey District, containing by admeasurement, 1 rood 0·4 perches, more or less, being Lot 1 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, under No. 20781, being part of Allotment 95, Parish of Waiwera. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 9/1273A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Cancelling the Vesting of a Reserve in the Pohangina County Council

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve for gravel purposes, and is vested in trust, in the Chairman, Councillors and Inhabitants of the County of Pohangina:

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Pohangina County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Pohangina of the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Vesting a Reserve in the Invercargill City Council

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly set apart as a reserve for recreation purposes: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section 9 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Invercargill, in trust, for recreation purposes.

And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient to vest the said reserve in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Tuapeka:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the reserve described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Tuapeka, in trust, for a site for a memorial hall.
