TE PUKE RIDING

All that area in the South Auckland Land District, situated in the County of Tauranga, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block VII, Tauranga Survey District, on the eastern shores of Tauranga Harbour being the south-western corner of the Borough of Mount Maunganui and running south-easterly generally along the southern boundary of the aforesaid Borough of Mount Maunganui, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 18, of the 15th day of March, 1945, page 276, to and along the shores of the Bay of Plenty to the northernmost corner of part of Tumu Kaituna No. 1 Block; thence southerly generally along the western boundary of the aforesaid part of Tumu Kaituna No. 1 Block, along the western boundary of the land as shown on the plan numbered 16773, deposited in the Auckland Land Registry Office, being the other part of the said Tumu Kaituna No. 1 Block and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Kaituna River; thence south-westerly generally up the middle of the said Kaituna River, to and up the middle of the Waiari River, to and up the middle of the Mangotoi Stream, to and along the northern boundaries of Sections 5 and 4 of Block XVI, Otanewainuku Survey District, to the northernmost corner of Section 3 of Block XVI, aforesaid, thence northerly generally along the generally eastern boundary of the Waimapu Riding, as hereinbefore described, to and along the generally southern and eastern shores of the Tauranga Harbour to the point of commencement; excepting thereout the Borough of Te Puke, as described in the New Zealand Gazette No. 23 of the 29th day of March, 1935, page 1017.

I hereby certify that the above resolution was passed at a special meeting of the Tauranga County Council, held on the 1st day of May, 1950, and after public notification, was duly confirmed as a special order at the ordinary meeting of the Council held on the 6th day of June, 1950.

Notice of Intention to Take Additional Land in Block LXXII, Hokonui Survey District, for Scientific and Industrial Research Purposes (Agricultural and Pastoral Research)

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the additional land described in the Schedule hereto for Scientific and Industrial Research Purposes (Agricultural and Pastoral Research): And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the Post-office at Gore and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land required to be taken: 1 acre 2 roods 0·6 perches.

Being part Section 136.

Situated in Block LXXII, Hokonui Survey District (Southland R.D.). (S.O. 5730.)

In the Southland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131665, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.
