NOTICE is hereby given that the Hon. the Minister of Health acting pursuant to paragraph (b) of clause (2) of section 3 of the Medical Practitioners Amendment Act, 1949, did, on the 26th day of April, 1950, appoint the undermentioned registered medical practitioner to be a member of the Medical Practitioners Disciplinary Committee, namely—

Special Order Made by the Thames Valley Drainage Board Altering Subdivision Boundaries

THE following special order made by the Thames Valley Drainage Board is published in accordance with the provisions of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and amendments.

SPECIAL ORDER
“THAT in pursuance of the powers vested in it by section 16 of the Land Drainage Act, 1908, and all other relevant enactments, the Board does resolve by special order to amend the boundary between the Awaiiti and the Elstow subdivisions of the Thames Valley Drainage District by deleting the present line of boundary in Block IV of the Waiota Survey District and substituting a new line of boundary in Block XV of the Waihou Survey District in the following manner: By deleting the existing boundary line where it extends from the western boundary of the Thames Valley Drainage District along the Paeroa–Tahuna road in Block IV of the Waiota Survey District, to the eastern boundary of the said district and substituting in its stead a line produced from the western boundary of the said district where that line touches the north-western corner of Section Part 1J 2B 1B 2A, Block XV, Waihou Survey District (described as Crown land), and extending along the northern boundary of that section to the “T” head of the Awaiiti Canal; thence along the northern side of the “T” head of the Awaiiti Canal to its eastern extremity; thence southwards generally along the eastern boundaries of Sections 1J 2B 1B 1 and 1J 2B 1A to meet the northern boundary of Section Part 1J 2B 4; and thence to the east along the northern boundary of that section to the eastern boundary of the district at the Awaiiti South Road.”
AWAITI SUBDIVISION
All that area in the South Auckland Land District, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block VI, Waihou Survey District, being the westernmost corner of Section 70, Block VI, aforesaid, and running north-easterly generally, along the north-western boundary of Section 70, aforesaid, along a right line across a public road, to and along the north-western boundaries of Sections 71 and 68 of Block VI, aforesaid, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced across a public road to the western boundary of Section 6 of Block VII, of the aforesaid Survey District; thence southerly generally along the generally western boundary of Section 6, aforesaid, crossing the intervening public road, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the northern boundary of Wairau No. 3c Block; thence along the northern boundary of Wairau No. 3c Block, aforesaid, to the northern boundary of Wairau No. 3D 1B Block, the north and north-eastern boundaries of Wairau No. 3D 2 Block and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced across a public road, to the northern boundary of Lot 1 as shown on the plan numbered 12553, deposited in the Auckland Land Registry Office, being parts Kaikahu Nos. 1B 1 and 1B 2 Blocks; thence
