Lowburn–Tarras.—All that road or portion of road in the Otago Land District, Vincent County, known as the Lowburn–Tarras Detour Road, commencing at a point on the Timaru–Cromwell via Lindis Main Highway opposite Section 2, Block IV, Wakefield Survey District, thence crossing the Clutha River via the Lowburn Bridge, thence generally in an easterly direction to the south-eastern corner of Section 37, Block V, Wakefield Survey District; thence generally in a north-easterly direction adjoining the east bank of the Clutha River and Runs 238E, 238M, 238I, and Sections 5, 29, and 4, Block II, Wakefield Survey District; thence through Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 14, 12, and 11, Block III, Tarras Survey District; thence crossing the Lindis River at Lindis Crossing; thence proceeding through Run 236R, Sections 2 and Part 1, Block XIV, Tarras Survey District, terminating at the Timaru–Cromwell via Lindis Main Highway at the eastern corner of Lot 8, Block I, Tarras Survey District, approximately 60 chains south of Tarras, being a distance of 15 miles 44 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on plan P.W.D. 131207, deposited in the office of the Main Highways Board at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Approving the Supply Association for the Oamaru Milk District

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on him by section ninety-two of the Milk Act, 1944, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby approve the North Otago Cooperative Milk Supply Company, Limited, as the Supply Association for the Oamaru Milk District.

The Te Awamutu Milk District Constitution Order 1950

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of July, 1950

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to the Milk Act, 1944, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby order and declare as follows:—

  1. This Order may be cited as the Te Awamutu Milk District Constitution Order 1950.

  2. Those parts of New Zealand consisting of the Borough of Te Awamutu and portion of the County of Waipa, described in the Schedule hereto, are hereby constituted and declared a milk district under the Milk Act, 1944, as from the 24th day of July, 1950, with the name of the “Te Awamutu Milk District”.

  3. The Te Awamutu Borough Council shall be the Milk Authority of the said district.

  4. The Waipa County Council shall be entitled to have one representative on the Milk Committee of the Te Awamutu Borough Council, and from time to time to nominate a person for that purpose.

  5. The Te Awamutu Borough Council shall from time to time appoint to the Milk Committee of the Borough Council the person nominated by the Waipa County Council pursuant to clause 4 hereof.


SCHEDULE

THE TE AWAMUTU MILK DISTRICT

ALL that area comprising the Borough of Te Awamutu and portion of the County of Waipa, bounded by a line commencing at a point in Block II, Puniu Survey District, in the middle of the North Island Main Trunk Railway in line with the southern boundary of Lot 4, as shown on the plan numbered 21671, deposited in the Auckland Land Registry Office, being part of Allotments 335 and 347, Mangapiko Parish, and running northerly generally along the middle of the aforesaid railway to a point in line with the southern boundary of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 285, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotment 277, Mangapiko Parish, aforesaid; thence easterly generally, along a right line to and along the aforesaid southern boundary, along the southern and eastern boundaries of Allotment 49, as shown on the plan numbered 4279, deposited as aforesaid, to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Allotment 202, Puniu Parish; thence along a right line across the Hamilton–Te Kuiti State Highway and Allotments 390 and 389 of the aforesaid Puniu Parish, to and along the south-western boundary of the aforesaid Allotment 202 to its south-eastern corner; thence along a right line to the northernmost corner of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 29449, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotments 210, 211, 227, and 228, Puniu Parish, aforesaid; thence south-easterly generally along the north-eastern boundary of the said Lot 1, along the north-western and north-eastern boundaries of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 9456, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotments 212 and 228, Puniu Parish, aforesaid, to its easternmost corner; thence along a right line across a public road, to and along the generally southern boundary of Lot 2, as shown on the plan numbered 19220, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotments 213, 214, 215, and 223, Puniu Parish, aforesaid, along the western and southern boundaries of Lot 4, along the southern boundary generally of Lot 5, both the aforesaid lots being as shown on the plan numbered 31096, deposited as aforesaid, being parts of Allotments 223 and 378 of the aforesaid Puniu Parish, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Muirs Road; thence southerly generally along the middle of the aforesaid road, to and along the middle of Woodstock Road to the middle of the Mangapiko Stream; thence up the middle of the Mangapiko Stream aforesaid to a point in line with the western boundary of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 20860, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotments 334, 335, 336, 337, and 338, Puniu Parish, aforesaid; thence along a right line to and along the western boundary of Lot 1 aforesaid, along the western boundary of Allotment 386 of the aforesaid parish, again along the western boundary of Lot 1 aforesaid and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Cambridge–Te Awamutu Main Highway; thence along the middle of the aforesaid highway to a point in line with the south-western boundary of Part of Allotment 340, Puniu Parish aforesaid; thence along a right line to and along the south-western boundary aforesaid, along the generally western and south-western boundaries of another part of Allotment 340, as shown on the plan numbered 774A, deposited as aforesaid, along the south-western boundary of Lot 2, as shown on the plan numbered 16518, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotments 180, 180A, and 181, Puniu Parish, aforesaid, to and along the western boundary of Lot 2, as shown on the plan numbered 20501, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotments 182, 182A, and 184, Puniu Parish, aforesaid, along the western boundary of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 21786, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Allotments 182A, 183, and 184, Puniu Parish, to its south-western corner; thence along a right line across a public road, to and along the north-western boundaries generally of Lots 2 and 1, as shown on the plan numbered 25343, deposited as aforesaid, being parts of Allotments 21, 21A, 22, 33, 33A, 34, and 34A, of the aforesaid Puniu Parish, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of a public road; thence south-easterly generally along the middle of the aforesaid road to a point in line with the western boundary of Allotment 46; thence southerly generally along the western boundaries of Allotments 46, aforesaid, and 47, Puniu Parish, aforesaid, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of a public road; thence westerly generally along the middle of the aforesaid public road to a point in line with the western boundary of Allotment 62, Puniu Parish, aforesaid, as shown on the plan numbered 13386, deposited as aforesaid; thence south-westerly generally along a right line to and along the aforesaid western boundary and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Putaruru–Arapuni–Kihikihi Main Highway; thence westerly generally along the middle of the aforesaid highway to a point in line with the north-western boundaries of Allotments 85 and 86, as shown on the aforesaid plan numbered 13386; thence again south-westerly generally along a right line to and along the north-western boundaries of Allotments 85 and 86 aforesaid, to and along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 2 and along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of Lot 1, both the aforesaid lots as shown on the plan numbered 19888, deposited as aforesaid, and being parts of Allotments 93, 94, and 95, all the aforementioned allotments being of the said Puniu Parish, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of a public road; thence north-westerly generally along the middle of the aforesaid public road to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Allotment 79 of the aforesaid Puniu Parish; thence along a right line to and along the aforesaid north-western boundary and along another right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the Puniu River; thence down the middle of the aforesaid river to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Part Pokuru No. 1A Section 1 Block; thence south-westerly generally along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of Tokanui Road; thence north-westerly generally along the middle of the aforesaid road to a point in line with the eastern end of the northern boundary of part Section 6, Block X, Puniu Survey District; thence along a right line to and along the generally northern boundary of part Section 6 aforesaid, and the north-western boundary of part Pokuru No. 2D Block, and along a right line being the last-mentioned boundary produced to the middle of the North Island Main Trunk Railway; thence north-easterly generally along the middle of the aforesaid railway to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of part Section 3, Block VI, Puniu Survey District, as shown on the plan numbered 22551, deposited as aforesaid; thence north-westerly generally along a right line to and along the aforesaid north-eastern boundary and its production to the middle of a public road; thence north-easterly generally along the middle of the aforesaid road to a point in line with the eastern boundary of Pokuru No. 2B Section 1A Block; thence along a right line to and along the aforesaid eastern boundary and northern boundaries of Pokuru No. 2B Sections 1A, aforesaid, and 1B Blocks, along the eastern boundary of Lot 5, as shown on the plan numbered 12661, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Kakepuku No. 1D Section 2A Block, and its production to the middle of the Te Awamutu–Barton’s Corner Main Highway; thence westerly and north-westerly generally along the middle of the aforesaid Highway and Puniu Road to a point in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1, as shown on the plan numbered 12381, deposited as aforesaid, being part of Maungamahoe B No. 3 Block; thence northerly generally along a right line to and along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1 aforesaid, to and along the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of Maungamahoe B No. 2 Block, along the generally western boundary of Maungamahoe B No. 1B Block and its production to the middle of the aforementioned Puniu River;
