Land Taken for the Purposes of Subdivision into Building Allotments for Housing Purposes in the Borough of Hastings

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 13 of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the First and Second Schedules hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of subdivision into building allotments for housing purposes and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Hastings as from the date hereinafter mentioned ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 3rd day of July, 1950.

Approximate Areas of the Pieces of Land Taken. Being Shown on Plan Coloured on Plan

1 3 17·7 Lot 1 and part Lots 2, 3, and 4, D.P. 6821, and being part Heretaunga Block (S.O. 2388.) P.W.D. 131098 Yellow.
0 0 10·5 Part Lot 8, Deeds Plan 414, and being part Heretaunga Block (S.O. 2393.) P.W.D. 131099 Blue.

In the Hawke's Bay Land District ; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SECOND SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken : 1 acre 2 roods 17·8 perches.

Being Lot 1, D.P. 6966, and being part Heretaunga Block, and being also the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, H.B. Volume 108, folio 272, Hawke's Bay Registry.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 27th day of June, 1950.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Hastings as from the date hereinafter mentioned ; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 3rd day of July, 1950.
