NOTICE is hereby given that, pursuant to the authority conferred on the Bureau of Industry under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936, the following decisions have been made in respect of applications for licences.

Retail Sale and Distribution of Motor-spirit

M. H. K. Hunt and E. W. D. Hunt, corner Malfroy and Old Taupo Roads, Rotorua, have applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed garage and service-station premises at the corner of Malfroy and Old Taupo Roads, Rotorua.

Macleay's Garage, Ltd., 8 Walter Street, Wellington, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on garage premises at 8 Walter Street, Wellington.

Auckland Farmers' Union Co-op. Society, Ltd., 50 Fanshawe Street, Auckland, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on business premises at 50 Fanshawe Street, Auckland.

C. F. C. Perham, Grove Road, Blenheim, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit from one pump to be installed on proposed caravan construction premises at Grove Road, Blenheim.

Robertson Bros., Ltd., 138 Thames Street, Oamaru, has applied for a licence to resell motor-spirit otherwise than through pumps from the depot of the Vacuum Oil Co., Pty., Ltd., Oamaru.

Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Avenue Road, Hastings, has applied for permission to shift two pumps from their present position in a drive-way off Avenue Road, Hastings, to a new site approximately 200 yards distant in the same road.

A. Taylor, Oruru, Northland, has applied for permission to shift one pump from its present position to a new site 300 yards distant.

J. R. McBride, Tokarahi, has applied for permission to take over from Tokarahi Transport Co., Ltd., Motor-spirits Retail Licence in respect of one pump installed on premises at Tokarahi.

Gardner's Taxis, Ltd., 121 Derby Street, Gisborne, has applied for permission to take over from J. C. Beecher, Motor-spirits Retail Licence in respect of one pump installed on premises at 121 Derby Street, Gisborne.

Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 6th July, 1950, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender.
