Cancelling the Vesting of Portion of a Reserve in the Roxburgh Borough
Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of
June, 1950
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms
portion of a reserve for plantation purposes and is vested,
in trust, in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough
of Roxburgh:
And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said land
as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Roxburgh
Borough Council has duly consented to such cancellation:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and
consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in
pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection (1) of section 10 of the Public Reserves,
Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the
vesting in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses, of the Borough
of Roxburgh of the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area containing by admeasurement 1 rood 8·96 perches,
more or less, being part Section 142, Block I, Teviot Survey
District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 10/100/14A, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 21st day of

HIS EXCELLENCE THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection (1) (b) of section 7 of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for plantation
purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto; and
doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown,
is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section
44 of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Arthur John Wood,
Leonard Malcolm Wood,
William Henry Simpson,
Tilden Keith McKean, and
Humphrey Shand Meads
to be the Rangiwahia Domain Board, having control of the
land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint
Saturday, the 15th day of July, 1950, at 8 o'clock p.m., as the
time when, and the Rangiwahia Hall, as the place where, the first
meeting of the Board shall be held.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 44

1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of
New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint
Hans Leslie Cairns,
Andrew James Cunningham,
Beatrice Nancy Goodwin,
Joseph Henry Hayward,
Leo Leonard Craw,
James Mould,
Allan Donald George McKay,
William George Vogan the younger, and
Donald Vogan
to be the Duvauchelle Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Monday,
the 31st day of July, 1950, at 8 o'clock p.m., as the time when,
and the County Council Chambers, Duvauchelle, as the place where,
the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE
CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT.-DUVAUCHELLE DOMAIN
ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by
admeasurement 5 acres and 37 perches, more or less, being Lots 7
and 10 on the plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christ-
church, under No. 4974 (formerly parts of Rural Sections 2326,
2327, and 332), together with Reserve No. 4013, situated in Block
XV, Pigeon Bay Survey District, and bounded as follows: Towards
the north-west and east by other parts of the said Sections 2326
and 2327, 850·4 links and 660 links respectively; towards the
south generally by other part of the said Section 2327, 18·7 links,
and by a public road, 75·6, 89·2, 128·2, 92·2, 156·8, and 71·6 links;
and towards the south-west by a road reserve along the shore of
Akaroa Harbour, 207·7, 114, 109·6, 199·3, and 110 links: be all
the aforesaid linkages more or less. As the same is more particularly
delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/632, deposited in the
Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and
thereon edged red.

to be the Wangaloa Domain Board, having control of the land
described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Tuesday,
the 4th day of July, 1950, at 8 o'clock p.m., as the time when, and
the School, Wangaloa, as the place where, the first meeting of the
Board shall be held.
