A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land first described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Arthur Thomas Harvey, of Pungarehu, Farmer, under and by virtue of renewable lease No. 1270, Volume 250, folio 131 (Auckland Registry), and that the leasehold estate in the land secondly described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Jane Letitia Wells, of Warea, Married Woman, under and by virtue of renewable lease No. 1268, Volume 250, folio 130 (Auckland Registry), and that the leasehold estate in the land thirdly described in the Schedule hereto, held from His Majesty the King by Thomas Greenhalgh, of Cambridge, Farmer, under and by virtue of renewable lease No. 1256, Volume 251, folio 39 (Auckland Registry), are hereby taken for the development of Water-power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River Power Scheme).
