Crown Land Set Apart for the Development of Water-power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River Power Scheme) in Block XIV, Cambridge Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for the development of water-power (Lake Taupo and the Waikato River Power Scheme), and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of June, 1950.

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of Crown land set apart :—

31 2 20} Parts Section 5; coloured sepia, edged sepia.
5 3 10} Gorton Settlement; coloured sepia.
26 2 0} Parts Section 9; coloured yellow, edged yellow.
3 3 10} Gorton Settlement; coloured yellow.
37 1 20} Parts Section 10; coloured sepia, edged sepia.
3 2 0} Gorton Settlement; coloured sepia.

Situated in Block XIV, Cambridge Survey District (Auckland R.D.) (S.O. 32968.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131509, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of June, 1950.

Additional Land Taken for a Public School in the Town District of Taradale

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Hawke's Bay as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of June, 1950.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken : 3 roods 8·6 perches.

Being part Lot 21, Deeds Plan 50, and being part Meeanee Suburban Section 63.

Situated in the Town District of Taradale (Hawke's Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2389.)

In the Hawke's Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131635, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of June, 1950.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for better utilization; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 26th day of June, 1950.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131623, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 14th day of June, 1950.
