A PROCLAMATION
P URSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section 47
of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-
General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto now held for housing
purposes is hereby set apart, subject to the rights created by memo-
randum of transfer No. 54393 (Southland Land Registry), for a
workers' hostel; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall
take effect on and after the 19th day of June, 1950.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land set apart : 2 acres O roods
13 perches.
Being part Lot 1, D.P. 3981, being part Section 90.
Situated in Block II, Wairio Survey District (Southland R.D.).

in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon

of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby
taken for Post and Telegraph purposes (line store, garage, and
workshop); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take
effect on and after the 19th day of June, 1950.
