Meeting of the General Assembly for the Despatch of Business

A PROCLAMATION
To the LEGISLATIVE COUNCILLORS of New Zealand, and the Members elected to serve in
the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES: GREETING.
WHEREAS the General Assembly of New Zealand stands prorogued to the 8th day of
June, 1950: And whereas for certain causes and considerations I have thought fit
further to prorogue it:
YOU ARE NOW HEREBY SUMMONED to appear on Tuesday, the 27th day of
June, 1950, for the Despatch of Business, at 2.30 p.m., in the Parliament Houses in the City
of Wellington, there to take into consideration the state and welfare of New Zealand and
therein to do as may seem necessary.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, and issued under the Seal
of New Zealand, this 7th day of June, 1950.
