NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of the above company held on 24th May, 1950, at the office of Pegler Bros., Ltd., Otahuhu, the following resolution was passed :—
“ That Broadview Estates, Ltd., goes into voluntary liquidation and that Mr. B. MORRIS, of Auckland, be and is hereby appointed liquidator.”
All persons having claims against the above company must lodge same with the liquidator on or before 10th June, 1950, otherwise they may be excluded from any distribution.

Locality of the race, and of its starting and terminal points ; also description of land traversed—e.g., unalienated Crown land, private land, or otherwise : Commencing at dredge hole (where marked out as a special site) 400 yards from west bank of Clutha River in area between Sections 113, 120, and 131, Block II, Teviot District (being Crown land held under occupation lease) ; thence running north-westerly in a straight line across the said Crown land to the Milton-Queenstown Main Highway, 5 chains ; thence under the said highway at right angles, to the eastern boundary of Section 51, Block II, Teviot District, 1¼ chains ; thence in a north-westerly direction across the said Section 51 and Section 42, Block II, Teviot District, alongside their north-eastern boundary, 15½ chains (being private land owned by applicant) ; and termination at north-western boundary of the said Section 42 at water-race held by applicant and others under Licence No. 605.
Length and intended course of race : 25 chains ; north-westerly.
Points of intake : One (at special site above mentioned).
Estimated time and cost of construction : 3 weeks ; £450.
Mean depth and breadth : 2 ft. × 1 ft. within which will be inserted pipe of 7 in. diameter.
Number of heads to be diverted : One.
Purpose for which water is to be used : Irrigation, stock, and domestic supply.
Proposed term of licence : Twenty-one years.

Notice of Reduction of Capital
In the matter of the Companies Act, 1933, and in the matter of GISBORNE MILK BARS, LIMITED.
NOTICE is hereby given that an order of the Supreme Court of New Zealand dated the 24th day of May, 1950, confirming the reduction of the capital of the above-named company from £5,000 to £3,000, and the minute approved by the Court showing with respect to the capital of the company as altered the several particulars required by the above-mentioned Act, was registered by the Registrar of Companies on the 25th day of May, 1950. The said minute is in the words and figures following :—
“ The capital of the company henceforth is £3,000 divided into 5,000 shares of 12s. each instead of the original capital of £5,000 divided into 5,000 shares of £1 each. At the time of the registration of this minute the sum of 12s. has been and is to be deemed to be paid up on each of the said shares.”
