NOTICE is hereby given that at a meeting of creditors of the above company, held on the 15th day of May, 1950, the following resolution was passed :—

“ That this meeting of creditors confirm the appointment by the shareholders of CYRIL LUTON STURGE, of Christchurch, Public Accountant, as liquidator.”

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Nelson City Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the providing of additional land for the purpose of the sports ground in the City of Nelson known as Trafalgar Park—and for the purposes of such public work the lands described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken :

And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council, situate in Trafalgar Street, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such lands who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said lands must state their objections in writing and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Town Clerk at the Council Chambers, Trafalgar Street, Nelson.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of parcel of land required to be taken : 35 perches. Being portion of Section No. 239A, coloured red.

Situated in the City of Nelson.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1928

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Education Act, 1914, and its amendments, to execute a certain public work—namely, to acquire an additional school site and playgrounds in the City of Nelson, and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, and notice is hereby further given that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land are required, if they have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, to set forth the same in writing and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Education Board of the District of Nelson at its address, being Shelbourne Street in the City of Nelson.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land containing one rood eight decimal five perches, more or less, being Lot 6 on Deposited Plan No. 1441, and being part Sections 62 and 63 M.R., City of Nelson, and part of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 86, folio 153 (Nelson Registry).

NOTICE OF VOLUNTARY WINDING-UP

In the matter of the Incorporated Societies Act, 1908, and in the matter of the Port of Auckland Shipping and Stevedores’ Association (Inc.).

NOTICE is hereby given : (a) that on the 12th day of April, 1950, at a general meeting of THE PORT OF AUCKLAND SHIPPING AND STEVEDORES’ ASSOCIATION (INC.), it was resolved that the association be wound up voluntarily ; (b) that the said resolution was confirmed at a further general meeting of the association, called for that purpose and held on the 12th day of May, 1950 ; (c) that on the said 12th day of May, 1950, it was also resolved at the said further general meeting that Mr. ERIC CHARLES BUSCKE, of Endean’s Building, Lower Queen Street, Auckland, be appointed liquidator for the purposes of the said winding-up.
