A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section 29 of the Public Works Amendment Act,
1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the
Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim as closed the portion of road described in the Schedule
hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 4 acres 1 rood
30 perches.
Adjoining or passing through Lot 4, D.P. 4007, being part Rural
Sections 672, 668, and 4895, the other part of Rural Section 668,
and Crown land.
Situated in Block III, Christchurch Survey District (Canterbury
R.D.). (S.O. 8080.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particu-
larly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131406, deposited in
the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon
coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the
Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of May, 1950.

Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
proclaim as closed the portions of road described in the Schedule
hereto.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for addition to land
to be subdivided and shall vest in the Whakatane Harbour Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the 22nd day of May, 1950.
