Crown Land in Wellington Land District Set Apart for the Purposes of Part I of the Housing Act, 1919

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section 9 of the Housing Act, 1919, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown land described in the Schedules hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart for the purpose of Part I of the said Act.

FIRST SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL those areas situated in Block XI, Paekakariki Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 1 rood 25·28 perches, more or less, being Lots 7 and 21 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 9621, being part Section 110, Porirua District, and part Kahutea No. 1A Block, and being also parts of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 293, folio 41 (Wellington Registry). As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4812/23, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE

WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT

ALL those areas situated in Block XI, Paekakariki Survey District, containing by admeasurement 8·48 perches, 8·96 perches, and 7·46 perches, more or less, being Lots 120, 138, and 150 respectively, as shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 9622, and being parts Section 110, Porirua District, and part Subdivision 2A 1 of Kahutea Block, and being also parts of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Volume 293, folio 41 (Wellington Registry). As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4812/23A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of May, 1950.

Proclaiming a Road-line Laid Off in Block XIV, Hastings Survey District, South Auckland Land District, to be a Public Road

A PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto was, by an order of the Maori Land Court made on the twenty-fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, duly laid off as a road-line in pursuance of section four hundred and eighty-three of the Maori Land Act, 1931:

And whereas the said Court is of the opinion that it is in the public interest that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road, and a notification to that effect has been forwarded to the Minister of Lands, in terms of section four hundred and eighty-six of the said Act:

And whereas one month’s notice in writing of the intention to proclaim the said road-line as a public road has been given by the Surveyor-General to the local authority of the district concerned in terms of subsection two of section four hundred and eighty seven of the said Act:

And whereas it is now expedient that the said road-line should be proclaimed as a public road:

Now, therefore, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section four hundred and eighty-seven of the Maori Land Act, 1931, do hereby proclaim as a public road the road-line described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road:—

A. R. P. Being portion of
0 0 24·2 Patumahoe Block.
0 0 9·4 Patumahoe Block.

Situated in Block XIV, Hastings Survey District. (M.L. Plan 16574.)

In the South Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 36/1444/215/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 3050, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 12th day of May, 1950.
