PASSENGERS—continued
- Sporting Parties.
Omit paragraph 1, and substitute the following:—
- The following tickets may be issued to sporting and athletic teams, golf, rowing, and rifle clubs, and such other parties as may be approved by the Department consisting in each case of not less than six adult passengers travelling together—
(a) Single tickets, at four-fifths of the ordinary single fare (Regulation 2); or
(b) Return tickets, at the special excursion fare (Regulation 6).
Omit paragraph 4, and substitute the following:—

Tickets issued under the provisions of this regulation will have the same availability as ordinary tickets (Regulation 2). The minimum charges will be:—

Theatrical, Concert, and Circus Companies
Omit paragraph 1, and substitute the following:—
- Bands of musicians, theatrical, concert, and circus companies, travelling together in companies for which not less than six full tickets are taken out in each case, may be issued the following tickets:—
(a) Single tickets, at four-fifths of the ordinary single fare (Regulation 2); or
(b) Return tickets, at the special excursion fare (Regulation 6).

Judges Proceeding to Shows, Exhibitors, Attendants, Owners, or Trainers Travelling in Charge of Live-stock, Racehorses, or Polo Ponies

Subparagraph (a): Omit the words “first-class” wherever shown.
Subparagraph (b): Omit “one month,” and substitute “three months.”
- OWNERS OR TRAINERS TRAVELLING IN CHARGE OF RACEHORSES
Subparagraph (b): Omit “two months,” and substitute “three months.”
3a. JOCKEYS AND TROTTING DRIVERS TRAVELLING TO AND FROM RACE AND TROTTING MEETINGS
Jockeys and trotting drivers travelling to attend race and trotting meetings for the purpose of riding or driving thereat, or returning home after having ridden or driven at such meetings, may, on production of a certificate in the following form, together with their membership-cards signifying membership of the New Zealand Jockeys’ Association in the case of jockeys, and the New Zealand Owners’ and Breeders’ Association in the case of trotting drivers, be granted tickets at the following fares:—
(a) Single tickets, at four-fifths of the ordinary single fare (Regulation 2).
(b) Return tickets, at the special excursion fare (Regulation 6).
