PURSUANT to section twenty-nine of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE

In the Southland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131130, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a main highway depot; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fifty.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 1 rood 0·7 perches.

Being Sections 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10.

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the eighth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 70 of the seventeenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, at page 2660, taking land for a Main Highway Depot in Block XXIV, Town of Dunkeld.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 3rd day of April, 1950.

Land Taken for a Borough Depot in the Borough of Upper Hutt

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a borough depot and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the borough of Upper Hutt as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the seventeenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fifty.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 4 acres 28·64 perches.

Being part Lot 88, D.P. 3605, and being parts of Sections 95 and 99 of the Hutt District, and being also the balance of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 261, folio 93 (Wellington Land Registry).

Situated in the Borough of Upper Hutt.
