from the Mayor of the Borough of Waipukurau, is published
in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act,
1926.

WAIPUKURAU BOROUGH COUNCIL

Pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, I
hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough
of Waipukurau taken on the 9th day of November, 1949, on the
proposal of the Waipukurau Borough Council to borrow the sum of
£28,100 for General Purposes Loan, 1948, and the sum of £1,900
for General Purposes Loan, No. 2, 1949, the votes recorded are as
follows:-

Pursuant to section 13 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1926, I
hereby give notice that at a poll of ratepayers of the Borough of
Te Kuiti, taken on the 14th day of December, 1949, on the proposal
of the Te Kuiti Borough Council to borrow the sum of seven thousand
five hundred pounds (£7,500) for the purpose of reconditioning and
tar-sealing various streets within the borough :-

The number of votes recorded for the proposal was .. 59
The number of votes recorded against the proposal was .. 29
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.
