Price Order No. 1132 (Cream)

PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following Price Order:—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 1132, and shall come into force on the 1st day of April, 1950.
  2. (1) Price Order Nos. 1108* and 1125† are hereby revoked.
    (2) The revocation of the said Orders shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the coming into force of this Order.
  3. The maximum price that may be charged for any cream sold on or after the 1st day of April, 1950, shall not exceed the appropriate price specified in the Schedule hereto.
  4. Every Price Order and every approval authorizing the selling price of cream in force on the coming into force of this Order shall be read subject to the provisions of this Order and shall be deemed to be amended accordingly.

SCHEDULE
MAXIMUM PRICES OF CREAM SOLD TO A CREAM VENDOR WITHIN THE MEANING OF PRICE ORDER NO. 1063‡

Quantity. During the Months April to September (Inclusive). During the Months October to March (Inclusive).
For ¼ pint bottles, or 4 oz. cartons s. d. 0 7¾ each s. d. 0 6⅞ each.
For ½ pint bottles, or 8 oz. cartons 1 3¾ ,, 1 1¾ ,,
For 1 pint bottles, or 16 oz. cartons 2 7½ ,, 2 3½ ,,
For loose cream in a quantity of less than 2 pints At the Rate of— s. d. 2 5 per pint At the Rate of— s. d. 2 1 per pint.
For loose cream in a quantity of 2 pints or more 19 4 per gallon 16 8 per gallon.

The Northern and Southern Sides of Portions of an Unnamed Road in the County of Hutt Exempted from the Provisions of Section 128 of the Public Works Act, 1928

ORDER IN COUNCIL

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 23rd day of March, 1950

Present:

THE HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Hutt County Council on the twenty-second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, in so far as it affects the sides and portions of road described in the Schedule hereto, viz:—

“ That the Hutt County Council, being the local authority having control of the roads in the County of Hutt, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and twenty-eight of the Public Works Act, 1928, shall not apply to the southern and northern sides of the road fronting Part B, 242, being part Sections 113 and 181, Hutt Registration District, Block XV, Akatarawa Survey District (C.T. 320/231).”

SCHEDULE

THE Northern side of all that portion of unnamed road situated in the Wellington Land District, County of Hutt, fronting the part of Section 113 of the Hutt District contained in Certificate of Title, Volume 320, folio 231, Wellington Land Registry.

The Southern side of all that portion of the said unnamed road fronting the part of Section 181 of the Hutt District contained in the said Certificate of Title, Volume 320, folio 231.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 131096, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

The Member of the Raglan County Council, representing the Raglan Riding, ex officio,
Bertrand Harding Andrews,
John Hopps Burrell,
Reuben Harry George Cushman,
Leslie Claude Day,
Archibald William Ensoll,
Albert Edward Gee,
James Herbert Meekings, and
Ronald Quentin Pearce

to be the Kopua Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Friday, the thirty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifty, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Raglan Town Hall, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SOUTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.—KOPUA DOMAIN

ALL that area situated in Block I, Karioi Survey District, containing 28 acres 1 rood 10 perches, more or less, being Papahua No. 2 and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 399, folio 91 (Auckland Registry).
