CORRIGENDUM
IN the notice exempting land in the Auckland Land District from the operation of Part III of the Coal-mines Act, 1925, published in Gazette No. 13 of the 2nd March, 1950, on page 223, the reference in the Schedule to “Deposited Plan 3243”, should read, “Deposited Plan 32431”.

Crown Land Set Apart as Permanent State Forest Land

A PROCLAMATION
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section eighteen of the Forests Act, 1949, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as permanent State forest land.
SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.—WELLINGTON CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, Taupo County, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood 9·7 perches, more or less, and being Section 5, Block XI, Puketi Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 53/9, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Wellington plan S.O. 21907.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 11th day of March, 1950.

OTAGO LAND DISTRICT.—SOUTHLAND CONSERVANCY
ALL that area in the Otago Land District, Tuapeka County, containing by admeasurement 15 acres 0 roods 9 perches, more or less, and being Section 23, Block XV, Glenkenich Survey District, being formerly part of Section 4, Block IV, and part of Section 15, Block XV, Glenkenich Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on plan No. 204/67, deposited in the Head Office of the New Zealand Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. (Otago plan S.O. 9794.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of March, 1950.

Land Subject to the Housing Act, 1919, Declared Crown Land Available for Reservation Under the Land Act, 1948

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon me by subsection one of section eight of the Housing Amendment Act, 1940, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare the land described in the Schedule hereto, being land subject to the Housing Act, 1919, to be Crown land available for reservation under the Land Act, 1948.
SCHEDULE
NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area in the Borough of Onehunga, situated in Block I, Otahuhu Survey District, containing by admeasurement a total of 3 roods 31·9 perches, more or less, being part of Lot 1 as shown on the plan deposited in the Land Registry office at Auckland under No. 30915, and part of Lot 1 as shown on the plan No. 31080, deposited as aforesaid, both the aforementioned lots being parts of Allotment 11, Section 3, Village of Onehunga, and being parts of the land comprised and described in Certificates of Title, Volume 792, folio 63, and Volume 589, folio 34, Auckland Land Registry, respectively. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1107/1/13, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington; and thereon edged red. (North Auckland plan S.O. 35259s.)
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 7th day of March, 1950.
