Recreation Reserve in South Auckland Land District Brought Under
Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks
Act, 1928

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 1st day of
March, 1950
Present:
THE HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the
thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and
National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril
Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand,
acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council
of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve
for recreation in the South Auckland Land District described in the
Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the
operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II
of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the
Ngaruawahia Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with
as a public domain by the Ngaruawahia Domain Board.

ALLOTMENT 674, Town of Newcastle: Area, 1 rood 32·01 perches,
more or less.

Revoking the Reservation Over Portion of a Reserve in the Borough
of Opunake, Taranaki Land District

March, 1950
Present:
THE HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for railway and
town belt purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto;
and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown,
is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

SCHEDULE
TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT
ALL that area situated in the Borough of Opunake, containing by
admeasurement 7 acres and 12·8 perches, more or less, being part of
Subdivisions 9 and 10, Opunake Town Belt. As the same is more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/1881B,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon edged red. (S.O. plans 547 and 6268.)

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public
Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency
the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by
and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for road purposes
over the lands described in the First Schedule hereto; and doth
hereby revoke the reservation for plantation purposes over the lands
described in the Second Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare
that the said lands, being vested in the Crown, are Crown lands
available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

FIRST SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL those areas situated in Block XI, Paekakariki Survey District,
containing by admeasurement a total of 1 rood 25·28 perches, more
or less, being Lots 7 and 21 as shown on a plan deposited in the Land
Registry Office at Wellington under No. 9621, being part Section
110, Porirua District, and part Kahutea No. 1A Block, and being
also parts of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title,
Volume 293, folio 41 (Wellington Registry). As the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4812/23,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon edged red.

SECOND SCHEDULE
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT
ALL those areas situated in Block XI, Paekakariki Survey District,
containing by admeasurement 8·48 perches, 8·96 perches, and 7·46
perches, more or less, being Lots 120, 138, and 150 respectively, as
shown on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Wellington
under No. 9622, and being parts Section 110, Porirua District, and
part subdivision 2A 1 of Kahutea Block, and being also parts of
the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume
293, folio 41 (Wellington Registry). As the same are more par-
ticularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/4812/23A,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at
Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Vesting Reserves in the Clutha County Council

ORDER IN COUNCIL
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 1st day of
March, 1950
Present:
THE HON. S. G. HOLLAND PRESIDING IN COUNCIL
WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto have
been duly set apart as reserves for plantation purposes:
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor-General, it is expedient
to vest the said reserves in the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants
of the County of Clutha:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent
of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of
the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section nine of
the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth
hereby declare that from and after the day of the date hereof the
reserves described in the Schedule hereto shall become vested in the
Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Clutha,
in trust for plantation purposes.

SCHEDULE
OTAGO LAND DISTRICT
SECTIONS 9 to 18 (inclusive), Block XXIX, Town of Molyneux:
Area, 2 acres 2 roods, more or less.
Also Sections 1 to 9 (inclusive), Block XXXIX, Town of
Molyneux: Area, 2 acres 0 roods 28 perches, more or less.
Also Sections 1 to 18 (inclusive) and 20, Block XLVIII, Town
of Molyneux: Area, 4 acres 3 roods, more or less.
