PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section forty-seven of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto, now held for housing purposes, is hereby set apart for buildings of the General Government; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the thirteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and fifty.
