Officiating Ministers for 1949.—Notice No. 3

Wellington, 14th February, 1949.
PURSUANT to the provisions of the Marriage Act, 1908, the following names of officiating ministers within the meaning of the said Act are published for general information :—

Notice of Vesting of Land in the Public Trustee Under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, Part II (Unclaimed Lands)
WHEREAS I, the undersigned, the Public Trustee, have for the purposes of Part II of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908 (relating to unclaimed lands), made due inquiry with respect to the lands described in the Schedule hereunder and the whereabouts of the owner thereof, and have, in respect of the said lands, given the notices prescribed by section 66 of that Act, and have in all respects complied with the provisions of that Act pertinent thereto : And whereas the owner has not established his title to the said lands as required by that Act, I hereby give notice that the said lands are under and by virtue of that Act vested in the Public Trustee as aforesaid as from the date of the publication hereof, and will be administered under the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, the value of the lands for the purposes of section 67 (d) of that Act being less than five hundred pounds (£500).
SCHEDULE
ALL that parcel of land containing 35 acres 3 roods, more or less, being part of Section 140, District of Hokonui, and being the balance of the land comprised in Vol. 20, folio 266, of the Register-book at Invercargill.

And also all that parcel of land containing 32 perches, more or less, being Allotment 136, Block XI, of the Township of Normanby, bounded on the north by Allotment 135 (200 links), bounded on the west by a public road (100 links), bounded on the east by Allotment 153 (100 links), and bounded on the south by Allotment 137 (200 links), and being part of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 2, folio 199 (Taranaki Registry), the registered proprietor of both the said parcels of land being Elizabeth Allen, wife of Charles Allen, of Normanby, Hotelkeeper.

Notice to Persons Affected by Applications for Licences Under Part III of the Industrial Efficiency Act, 1936
Manufacture of Footwear
A. Pitkethley, 127 Parnell Road, Auckland, has applied for a licence to manufacture men’s footwear by the welted, fair-stitched, and machine-sewn processes, and boys’ football boots by the machine-sewn process.
This is a substitution for a previous application under the name of Pitmet Footwear, Ltd.
Pharmacy Industry
P. H. E. Golding, 2 Elizabeth Street, Ponsonby, Auckland, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at 73 Lower Symonds Street, Auckland.
A. E. Lacey, P.O. Box 12, Maungaturoto, Northland, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at Ruawai, Northland.
H. W. Sherlock, 107 Wright’s Road, Christchurch, has applied for a licence to operate a new pharmacy at 25 Lincoln Road, Christchurch.
Applicants and other persons considering themselves to be materially affected by the decisions of the Bureau of Industry on these applications should, not later than 3rd March, 1949, submit any written evidence and representations they may desire to tender.
