Crown Land Set Apart for Linen-flax Development (Clydevale Factory) in Block III, Waitahuna West Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the pieces of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto are hereby set apart for linen-flax development (Clydevale factory); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

Situated in Block III, Waitahuna West Survey District (Otago R.D.).

In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plans marked and coloured as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 9th day of February, 1949.

Declaring Land Taken for a Government Work, and not Required for That Purpose, to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section thirty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1924.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land declared to be Crown land: 370 acres 1 rood 35 perches.

Being Section 6, Deeds Plan 212, Albert Downs Estate, and Section 1 and part Section 2.

Situated in Block XCV, Clutha Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9173.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 113838, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 10th day of February, 1949.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the residence-site licence in the land described in the Schedule hereto, held by the Trustees Executors and Agency Company of New Zealand, Limited, is hereby taken for Post and Telegraph purposes (postmaster’s residence); and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-first day of February, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
