Land Taken for a Quarry in Block VII, Heretaunga Survey District,
Hawke’s Bay County

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a quarry and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Napier as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 2 roods.
Being part Blocks 2, 3, and 55, Puketapu Crown Grant District, and being part Lot 1, Deeds Plan 325.
Situated in Block VII, Heretaunga Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2399.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130199, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured blue.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 21st day of December, 1949.

A PROCLAMATION
PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for an electric-power substation, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the development of water-power (Roxburgh Power Scheme).
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 14 acres 2 roods.
Being part Section 11, intersected by water-race.
Situated in Block I, Teviot Survey District, being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 326, folio 144 (Otago Land Registry).
