Declaring Portion of Railway Land at Ngaruawahia to be Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1948.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 28 acres 3 roods.
Being part Lot 3, D.P. 24890, being part Section 555, Suburbs of Newcastle South.
Situated in Blocks VII and VIII, Newcastle Survey District, Borough of Ngaruawahia. (S.O. 34054.)
In the South Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10133, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of December, 1949.

Additional Land at Linden Taken for the Purposes of the Wellington-Foxton Railway

A PROCLAMATION
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Wellington-Foxton Railway.

APPROXIMATE area of the additional piece of land taken: 2ยท57 perches.
Being part road.
Situated in Block V, Belmont Survey District, Makara County. (S.O. 21732.)
In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 9523, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured green and edged green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of December, 1949.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1928, the Government Railways Act, 1949, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the Hurunui-Waitaki Railway.
SCHEDULE
APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 1 rood 4ยท2 perches.
Being part Lot 5, D.P. 1742, being part Reserve 679.
Situated in Block VIII, Waimate Survey District, Waimate County (S.O. 8160.)
In the Canterbury Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L.O. 10134, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured orange.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 16th day of December, 1949.
