Price Order No. 1108 (Cream)

Pursuant to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following Price Order:—

  1. This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 1108, and shall come into force on the 19th day of December, 1949.

  2. The maximum price that may be charged for any cream sold between the 19th day of December, 1949, and the 15th day of January, 1950, both days inclusive, shall not exceed the appropriate prices specified in the Schedule hereto.

  3. Every Price Order and approval authorizing the selling-price of cream and in force on the coming into force of this Order shall be read subject to the provisions of this Order and shall be deemed to be amended accordingly.

SCHEDULE

Maximum prices of cream sold to a cream vendor within the meaning of Price Order No. 1063*—

For ¼ pint bottles, or 4 oz. cartons: 7d. each.
For ½ pint bottles, or 8 oz. cartons: 1s. 2d. each.
For 1 pint bottles, or 16 oz. cartons: 2s. 4d. each.
For loose cream in a quantity of less than 2 pints: At the rate of 2s. 1d. per pint.
For loose cream in a quantity of 2 pints or more: At the rate of 16s. 8d. per gallon.
