A PROCLAMATION
Pursuant to section twenty-nine of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the Schedule hereto.

Pursuant to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, and with the consent of the licensee named therein, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council dated the first day of December, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, and published in the Gazette on the second day of the same month at page 1479, authorizing Samuel Joseph Steele, of Waihi, Sheep-farmer, to use water for the purpose of generating electricity.

Vesting the Control of a Reserve in the Waiheke West Public Hall and Library Board

At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of December, 1949
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
In pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section seventeen of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby vest the control of the reserve described in the Schedule hereto (being a reserve for a hall site) in the Waiheke West Public Hall and Library Board, as constituted by an Order in Council dated the third day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-six, and published in Gazette of the eleventh day of that month, from the day of the date hereof to the second day of April, one thousand nine hundred and fifty-one, and doth hereby declare that the provisions of the said Order in Council shall apply to the said reserve.

All that area in the Western Waiheke Road District, situated in Block V, Waiheke Survey District, containing by admeasurement 32 perches, more or less, being Lot 448, as shown on the plan numbered 33180, deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland, being part of Te Huruhi No. 5n Block. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 22/3630/103a, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Revoking the Reservation for Recreation Purposes Over a Reserve in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, Canterbury Land District

At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of December, 1949
Present:
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL
Whereas a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council declaring that the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be revoked was published in the Gazette of the sixth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine:
And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before both Houses of Parliament in accordance with the provisions of subsection two of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928:
And whereas the Legislative Council and the House of Representatives, by resolutions dated respectively the eleventh and the twentieth days of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, approved the proposed revocation as aforesaid:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule hereto, and doth hereby declare that the said land, being vested in the Crown, is Crown land available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT
All that area situated in Block X, Christchurch Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 25.7 perches, more or less, being Reserve 4526, and being also described as Lot 31 on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Christchurch under No. 13546, being part of Rural Section 459. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 25/832B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington. and thereon edged red.

Whereas a notice of intention to issue an Order in Council declaring that the parts of the Paraparaumu Beach Domain described in the Schedule hereto shall cease to be subject to Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, and shall be deemed to be Crown lands available for disposal by way of sale for cash under the Land Act, 1948, was published in the Gazette of the thirtieth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine:
And whereas such notice of intention was duly laid before both Houses of Parliament in accordance with the provisions of subsection two of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928:
And whereas the Legislative Council and the House of Representatives, by resolutions dated respectively the eleventh and the twentieth days of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, approved the proposed revocation as aforesaid:
