Also all that area in the Wellington Land District, situated in Block XI, Kairanga Survey District, bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of Boundary Road in line with the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1 on D.P. 693, being part Rural Section 419, Township of Palmerston North; and proceeding in a south-easterly direction to, and along the north-eastern boundary of Lot 1 aforesaid and the north-eastern boundaries of Lots 2 and 4 on D.P. 693 aforesaid to and across the Wellington–Napier Railway and along the north-eastern boundary of part Rural Section 419, Township of Palmerston North, to the north-western side of the Palmerston North–Napier State Highway; thence south-westerly along the north-western side of that highway to its intersection with the north-eastern boundary of the City of Palmerston North as described in New Zealand Gazette 1877, page 718; thence north-westerly along the boundary of the City of Palmerston North, and its production to the middle of Boundary Road and thence north-easterly along the middle of that road to the point of commencement.

New Lynn Borough Council Authorized to Utilize a Closed Street for the Purpose of the Erection of a Residence for the Borough Foreman

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of December, 1949

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

IN pursuance and exercise of the power conferred on him by section one hundred and ninety-four of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, and of all other powers enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby approve of the New Lynn Borough Council utilizing the closed street described in the Schedule hereto and situate in the Borough of New Lynn for the purpose of the erection of a residence for the Borough Foreman.


SCHEDULE

CLOSED street, formerly known as Lynn Road, being Lot 4, Plan Whau 91 of Allotment 188, Parish of Waikumete, comprising 1 road 4 perches.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Streets, in the Borough of Kaikohe, Subject to a Condition as to the Building-line

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of December, 1949

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section thirty-one of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, and section one hundred and twenty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Kaikohe Borough Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed streets described in the Schedule hereto at a width for part of their lengths of less than sixty-six feet, but not less than fifty-four feet, subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the land shown edged green on the P.W.D. plan referred to in the said Schedule within a distance of forty-eight feet from the centre-lines of the said streets.


SCHEDULE

ALL that proposed street in the North Auckland Land District, Borough of Kaikohe, containing by admeasurement 1 road 37·5 perches, more or less, being part Taraire 1g 3c Block, being part Lot 2, D.P. 25009.

Also that proposed street in the said land district and borough, containing by admeasurement 1 road 27·9 perches, more or less, being part Taraire 1g 3c Block, being part Lot 2, D.P. 25009.

Also that proposed street in the said land district and borough, containing by admeasurement 2 roads 10·6 perches, more or less, being part Taraire 1g 3c Block, being part Lot 2, D.P. 25009.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130104, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

Authorizing the Laying-off of Streets off Wakari and Helensburgh Roads in the City of Dunedin of Widths Less than 66 ft., Subject to Conditions as to the Building-line

At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of December, 1949

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL

PURSUANT to section thirty-one of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1948, and section one hundred and twenty-five of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby authorize the Dunedin City Council to permit the laying-off of the proposed streets described in the Schedule hereto at widths for the whole of their lengths of less than sixty-six feet but not less than forty, forty-two, and fifty feet (as shown on the plan referred to in the said Schedule) subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on Lots 1, 2, 24, and 25, No. 4 Block, of a subdivision of the land (as shown on the plan referred to in the said Schedule) fronting one of the proposed streets within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said street or on the balance of the land fronting the remaining proposed streets described in the Schedule hereto within a distance of forty-eight feet from the centre-lines of the said streets.


SCHEDULE

THOSE proposed streets in the Otago Land District, City of Dunedin, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 3 roods 20 perches, more or less, being part Sections 55, parts 57, parts 59, parts 61 and part 63, Wakari District.

As the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 130318, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

PURSUANT to the Municipal Corporations Act, 1933, as amended by section fifteen of the Municipal Corporations Amendment Act, 1938, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the closing of the portion of Deel Street, in the Borough of Alexandra, described in the Schedule hereto.


SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the portion of street affected: 1·5 perches. Adjoining Section 1.

Situated in Block XV, Town of Alexandra (Borough of Alexandra), (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 9727.)
