HAWKE’S BAY COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hawke’s Bay County Council proposes to execute a certain public work—namely, to provide a road—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken: And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the offices of the Hawke’s Bay County Council, Market Street, Hastings, and is open for inspection without fee by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objection to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty (40) days from the first publication of this notice, to the Hawke’s Bay County Council at its offices in Browning Street, Napier.

All situated in Block VI, Te Mata Survey District, in the County of Hawke’s Bay and Land Registration District of Hawke’s Bay. As the same are more particularly delineated on a plan marked 2406, deposited in the office of the Chief Surveyor at Napier, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

HOBSON COUNTY COUNCIL

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920, and its amendments, the Public Works Act, 1928, and its amendments, and the Health Act, 1920, and its amendments.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hobson County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to execute a certain public work—namely, the erection of a building containing sanitary conveniences and dressing-rooms for the convenience of the public on a certain section in Bayly Street, in the Town of Moeatua, Chases Gorge, West Coast, Dargaville, in the County of Hobson—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers, Normanby Street, Dargaville.

SCHEDULE

ALL that parcel of land containing thirty-two perches (32 perches), more or less, situated in Block XIII of the Kaihu Survey District, being Lot 2 of Block IV, on a plan deposited in the Land Registry Office at Auckland as No. 20613 (Town of Moeatua), which said parcel of land is portion of the Kaihu No. 1 Block, and the whole of the land comprised and described in certificate of title, Vol. 695, folio 292 (Auckland Registry).

RAWLINGS SCHOLARSHIPS

In the matter of the RAWLINGS SCHOLARSHIPS constituted by the will of the late Humphrey Rawlings.

NOTICE is hereby given that the scheme for the extension of the age of boys eligible for the above-mentioned scholarship, as previously advertised, was approved by the Honourable Mr. Justice Callan, a Judge of the Supreme Court of New Zealand, on the 16th day of November, 1949.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND FOR ROAD

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1920 and the Public Works Act, 1928.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitemata County Council proposes, under the provisions of the aforementioned Acts, to execute certain works—namely, the construction and formation of a public road passing through or adjoining the pieces of land referred to hereunder and situated in the Birkenhead Riding of the County of Waitemata—and for the purpose of such public works, the land described in the Schedule hereto are required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that plans of the lands so required to be taken are deposited in the public office of the Clerk of the said Council, situate at the Council Chambers, 1 Princess Street, Auckland, and are open for inspection, without fee, by all persons during ordinary office hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said public works, or by the taking of such lands, who have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public works, or to the taking of the said lands, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty (40) days from the date of the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk at the Council Chambers.
