Price Order No. 1105 (Cycle Tires and Tubes)
PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following Price Order :—

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 1105, and shall come into force on the 1st day of December, 1949.

(1) Price Order No. 621* is hereby revoked.
(2) The revocation of the said Order shall not affect the liability of any person for any offence in relation thereto committed before the coming into force of this Order.
- In this Order, unless the contest otherwise requires—
“Wholesaler”, in relation to the sale of any goods, includes a manufacturer who sells the goods to a retailer.
APPLICATION OF THIS ORDER
- This Order applies with respect to the cycle tires and tubes, specified in the Schedule hereto that have been manufactured by Reid (New Zealand) Rubber Mills, Ltd., or Dunlop Rubber Co. (New Zealand), Ltd.
FIXING MAXIMUM PRICES OF GOODS TO WHICH THIS ORDER APPLIES
Wholesalers’ Prices
- The maximum price (including sales tax) that may be charged or received by any wholesaler for any goods to which this Order applies shall be the appropriate maximum retail price set out in the Schedule hereto, reduced by 25 per cent. thereof.
Retailers’ Price
- (1) The maximum price that may be charged or received by any retailer for any goods to which this Order applies shall be the appropriate price set out in the Schedule hereto.
(2) The maximum retail prices fixed in the Schedule hereto are fixed in respect of goods received into the retailers’ store free of freight charges and where freight charges have been incurred by a retailer in obtaining delivery into his store the said maximum prices may be increased by the proportionate amount of such charges being not more in any case than the charges that would have been incurred had delivery been effected by the holder of a goods-service licence under the Licensing Act, 1931, at authorized rates.
