Whangamumu Inside a right line drawn from Flat Rock to the northern extremity of the southern entrance point to Whangamumu Harbour For vessels carrying passengers, not more than 3 miles ; and for fishing-boats, not more than 4 miles seaward of a right line drawn from Flat Rock to the northern extremity of the southern entrance point to Whangamumu Harbour Nil.
Whangape Inside the entrance of Whangape Harbour Not beyond Herekino River to the north and Hokianga River to the south Nil.
Whangarei Inside a right line drawn from Sugarloaf Lighthouse. to the visible extremity of Marsden Pt. Within a radius of 3 miles from Sugarloaf Island Seasonal : For vessels engaged in deep-sea sports-fishing only :— From 1st May to 31st October : Between a line drawn 090° from the shore, passing through and extending 15 miles from north-eastern end of Rimariki (Wide Berth Island), and a line drawn 090° for 12 miles from Bream Tail From 1st November to 30th April : Between a line drawn 090° from the shore passing through and extending 25 miles from north-eastern end of Rimariki (Wide Berth Island) and a line drawn 090° for 20 miles from Bream Tail Nil.
Whangaroa Inside a right line drawn from South Head to North Head at Whangaroa Harbour entrance Inside a right line drawn from Flat Head to the northernmost island of the Cavalli Islands ; thence by a line outside the islands to the eastern end of Step Island ; thence to Ngatoka Raranui Point Seasonal : For vessels engaged in deep-sea sports-fishing only :— From 1st May to 31st October : Within a radius of 13 miles from Cone Rock From 1st November to 30th April : Within a radius of 20 miles from Cone Rock Nil.
Whangaruru Inside a right line drawn from Cape Home extremity to the western point of Henry Island ; thence by a right line passing through the north-western extremity of Bland Rocks to the foreshore Inside a right line drawn from South Head eastern extremity to Home Point eastern extremity Nil.

Declaring Area to be a Closely Populated Locality for the Purposes of Section 36 of the Transport Act, 1949

IN terms of section 36 of the Transport Act, 1949, the Minister of Transport hereby declares the area described in the Schedule hereto to be a closely populated locality for the purposes of the said section to the intent that a person driving any motor-vehicle on any road therein shall be subject to the maximum speed limit of thirty miles an hour fixed by the said section.

SCHEDULE

SITUATED within the Tauranga County—

All that area at Katikati consisting of that portion of the Paeroa–Whakatane State Highway No. 16, commencing at a point 36 chains measured along the said State highway in a north-westerly direction from the Government railway overhead bridge and terminating at a point 36 chains measured along the said State highway in a southerly direction from the said overhead bridge, a distance of approximately 72 chains.

Approval of Suntex Safety Glass for Windscreens

PURSUANT to Regulation 10 (6) of the Traffic Regulations 1936, the Minister of Transport doth hereby approve in terms of clause 5 (a) of Regulation 10 of the Traffic Regulations 1936, of Suntex Safety Glass for the making of windscreens.
