(1) Less annual payment for meals when on duty as shown. (2) Includes additional salary as holder of General Nursing Certificate (£50 per annum for Matrons (Classes A and B) and £25 per annum for Assistant Matrons and Tutor Sisters). (3) Also an allowance of £10 per annum acting as Fire Captain. (4) Subject to passing the Institutional Final Examination within a reasonable period after discharge from the Forces—salary to be paid meantime at £370 per annum. (5) Further increment subject to passing Junior Examination. (6) Also free house, fuel, and light. (7) Residence only. (8) Residence, fuel, and light. (9) Privileged to purchase from Institution store at cost-price as part-payment in commuting former system of free maintenance. (10) To receive £20 per annum allowance while acting as Deputy Charge Attendant. (11) To receive annual allowance while acting as Charge Attendant to bring salary to £435 per annum. (12) Free laundry service. (13) Medico-psychological Certificate. (14) To receive annual allowance while acting as Sister to bring salary to £350 per annum. (15) To receive annual allowance while acting as Staff Nurse to bring salary to £325 per annum. (16) Senior Mental Nursing Certificate or Institutional Final Examination. (17) New Zealand Registered Psychiatric Nurse. (18) To receive annual allowance while acting as Head Attendant or Matron. (19) To receive annual allowance while acting as Tutor Sister. (20) Seconded to the School of Occupational Therapy, Auckland, while training as Occupational Therapist—bursary to be paid at the rate of £225 per annum.
