Land Taken for a Public School in the City of Dunedin

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Otago as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a secondary school; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 2 acres 3 roods 26·7 perches.

Being Lot 1, D.P. 8504, part Rural Section 70, Block X, Christchurch Survey District, and being all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 399, folio 31 (Canterbury Land Registry).
