A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section twenty-nine of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as street the land described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the street described in the Second Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed: 1 rood 9·18 perches. Adjoining or passing through Allotments 1, 1A, and 2 of Section 9, Small Farms near Howick, and Allotment 30 of Section 1, Town of Howick; coloured green.

All situated in Block III, Otahuhu Survey District (Howick Town District) (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 35461.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129387, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

PURSUANT to section twenty-nine of the Public Works Amendment Act, 1948, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as closed the portion of street described in the Schedule hereto.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of street closed: 1 rood 1 perch. Adjoining or passing through parts Section 53, Hutt District, Lot 1, D.P. 12073, and part Lot 2, D.P. 12464, being parts Section 53, Hutt District.

Situated in Block IX, Belmont Survey District (City of Lower Hutt). (S.O. 21642.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129290, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.

PURSUANT to section one hundred and forty-nine of the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as stopped the Government road described in the Schedule hereto, such road being no longer required.

PURSUANT to the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Act, 1941, and section seven of the Soil Conservation and Rivers Control Amendment Act, 1948, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that the persons holding for the time being the offices of

Instructor in Agriculture, Department of Agriculture, Thames,
Conservator of Forests, State Forest Service, Auckland,
District Engineer, Ministry of Works, Hamilton,
Commissioner of Crown Lands for the Land District of South Auckland, Department of Lands and Survey, Auckland, and
Pedologist, Soil Bureau, Department of Scientific and Industrial Research, Rotorua,

shall be non-elective members of the Hauraki Catchment Board.
