Price Order No. 1035 (Lime)
PURSUANT to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, doth hereby make the following Price Order:—

This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 1035, and shall come into force on the 14th day of July, 1949.

This Order applies to lime manufactured in New Zealand in respect of which the maximum selling-price at which the manufacturer may sell the lime is at the date of this Order fixed by an approval under the Control of Prices Act, 1947.

The maximum selling-price that may be charged or received by any manufacturer of lime to which this Order applies shall be the maximum selling-price fixed by the approval relating to the lime increased by 3d. per ton.

Every approval in force at the date of this Order fixing the maximum selling-price at which a manufacturer may sell lime shall be read subject to this Order and shall be deemed to be amended accordingly.

Notice of Result of Poll on Proposal to Raise a Loan
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Mount Maunganui, taken on the 29th day of June, 1949, on the proposal of the Mount Maunganui Borough Council to borrow the sum of two thousand seven hundred and fifty pounds (£2,750), for the purpose of meeting the Council’s share of the cost of carrying out permanent construction work on that section of Maunganui Road between its intersection with Pacific Avenue and its intersection with Salisbury Avenue, such work to include sealing, kerbing, and channelling, and laying of stormwater drains—

I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1926, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Mount Maunganui, taken on the 29th day of June, 1949, on the proposal of the Mount Maunganui Borough Council to borrow the sum of one thousand two hundred and fifty pounds (£1,250) for the purpose of acquiring the property described as Lot 1, D.P. 28546, Block VII, Tauranga Survey District, and situated on the corner of Maunganui Road and Pacific Avenue, such property to be set aside for the future erection of municipal buildings—

The number of the publication entitled “Supplementary Ships Weather Reporting Scheme” has been amended from N.Z.M.S. 103 and should now read N.Z.M.O. 103.
Remarks: This change has been made necessary to avoid confusion with the New Zealand Mapping Service Series of publications short titled N.Z.M.S.
