Foreshoze Licence―Mangawhore―Northern Wairoa River―Kaipara Harbour Jetty to Carry a Water-pipe―Northern Wairoa Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited
B. C. FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of July, 1949 Present :
His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Harbours Act, 1923, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council doth hereby licence and permit The Northern Wairoa Co-operative Dairy Company, Limited, of Dargaville (hereinafter called the company, which term shall include its successors and assigns unless the context requires a different construction), to use and occupy a part of the foreshore and land below low-water mark at Mangawhare, Northern Wairoa River, Kaipara Harbour, shown on the plan marked M.D. 8865, and deposited in the office of the Marine Department at Wellington, for the purpose of erecting and maintaining a jetty to carry a water-pipe thereon, such licence to be held and enjoyed by the company upon and subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE CONDITIONS 1. This licence is subject to the Foreshore Licence Regulations 1940, and the provisions of those regulations shall, so far as applicable apply hereto. 2. The term of the licence shall be fourteen years from the 1st day of July, 1949. 3. The premium payable by the company shall be two pounds ten shillings (£2 10s.) and the annual sum so payable by the company shall be two pounds (£2).

The Waterfront Industry Emergency Regulations, 1946, Amendment No. 7

FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 8th day of July, 1949 Present : His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Emergency Regulations Continuance Act, 1947, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, doth hereby make the following regulations.
REGULATIONS 1. These regulations may be cited as the Waterfront Industry Emergency Regulations 1946, Amendment No. 7, and shall be read together with and deemed part of the Waterfront Industry Emergency Regulations 1946 (hereinafter referred to as the principal regulations). 2. (1) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in the principal regulations it shall be lawful for the Chairman of the Waterfront Industry Authority acting alone to adjudicate upon and give a final decision in respect of the application by the New Zealand Waterside Workers' Industrial Union of Workers for an increase in the basic rate of pay of waterside workers, which application appears as Dispute No. 10 on Agenda No. A―l of the Waterfront Industry Authority. (2) Any such decision made by the Chairman acting alone shall be as valid and effectual as if it had been made at a duly constituted meeting of the Authority.

Varying an Order in Council Prohibiting Alienation of Maori Land

FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 6th day of July, 1949 Present : His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section four hundred and forty-two of the Maori Land Act, 1931, His Excellency the Governor-General, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council doth hereby vary an Order in Council made on the sixth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, and published in the Gazette on the sixteenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-eight, at page 407, by excluding therefrom the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Road in Block XII, Puketapu Survey District, to be Government Road B. C. FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of July, 1949 Present : His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto shall on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government road.
SCHEDULE Approximate Areas of the Portions of Road Declared to be Government Road. Being Coloured on Plan. A. R. P. 0 1 17.7 Formerly part Lot 1, D.P. 2775, being Yellow. part S.S. 51, Western Side of Harbour 0 0 13 Formerly portion of old bed of Petane Edged Stream sepia. 0 0 0.6 Formerly part Lot 14, D.P. 1856, being Edged part Te Pahou Block blue.
Situated in Block XII, Puketapu Survey District (Hawkes Bay R.D.). (S.O. 2268.) In the Hawkes Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128115, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Declaring the Mamaranui Farm Settlement Road, in the Hobson County, to be County Road B. C. FREYBERG, Governor-General ORDER IN COUNCIL At the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of July, 1949 Present : His Excellency THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL PURSUANT to section one hundred and twelve of the Public Works Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county road.
SCHEDULE ALL that portion of road in the North Auckland Land District, Hobson County, known as the Mamaranui Farm Settlement Road, commencing at its junction with a public road and proceeding thence in a north-easterly direction generally adjoining Sections 1, 12, and 16, Block VII, Kaihu Survey District, and terminating at the south-western boundary of Section 14, Block VII, Kaihu Survey District, being a distance of 60 chains, more or less. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 129304, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured red and marked A―B.
