Domain Board Appointed to Have Control of the Upper Moutere War Memorial Domain

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section forty-four of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

Frederick Teece,
Walter Andrew Brown,
Willoughby Drummond Rawlinson,
Francis Allan Coleman,
William Alexander Scott,
Henry Austin David Clouston, and
Theodor Oscar Drogemuller

to be the Upper Moutere War Memorial Domain Board, having control of the land described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby appoint Thursday, the twenty-sixth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine, at eight o'clock p.m., as the time when, and the public hall, Upper Moutere, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE

NELSON LAND DISTRICT.—UPPER MOUTERE WAR MEMORIAL DOMAIN

ALL that area in the Waimea County, containing by admeasurement 5 acres, more or less, being Lot 1 on Plan No. 3456, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar, at Nelson, and being part of Section 96, District of Moutere, situated in Block XVI, Motueka Survey District. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked 1/1217, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Cancelling the Vesting of Reserves in the Pohangina County Council

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

WHEREAS the lands described in the Schedule hereto are reserves for gravel purposes, and are vested in the Pohangina County Council:

And whereas it is expedient that the vesting of the said lands as hereinbefore referred to should be cancelled, and the Pohangina County Council has duly consented to such cancellation:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one of section ten of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, doth hereby cancel the vesting in the Pohangina County Council of the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

SECTION 22, Block VII, Umutoi Survey District: Area, 1 acre 2 roods, more or less.

Recreation Reserve in Nelson Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928

THE RIGHT HON. P. FRASER PRESIDING IN COUNCIL

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Nelson Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Upper Moutere War Memorial Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.

Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District Brought Under Part II of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act 1928

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the thirty-fourth section of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act, and such reserve shall hereafter form part of the Selwyn Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain by the Selwyn Domain Board.

NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT

ALL that area in the City of Auckland situated in Block IX, Rangitoto Survey District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods 17·6 perches, more or less, being Lot 35 as shown on the plan numbered 19110, deposited in the office of the District Land Registrar at Auckland being part Allotment 23, District of Tamaki. As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 1/1214, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Revoking the Reservation Over Reserves in Block VII, Umutoi Survey District, Wellington Land District

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by subsection one (b) of section seven of the Public Reserves, Domains, and National Parks Act, 1928, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the reservation for gravel purposes over the lands described in the Schedule hereto; and doth hereby declare that the said lands, being vested in the Crown, are Crown lands available for disposal under the Land Act, 1948.
