Crown Land Set Apart for a Further Portion of the South Island Main Trunk Railway (North End) (82 m. to 93 m.) and for Road-diversions in Connection Therewith

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown Land described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for a further portion of the South Island Main Trunk Railway; and that the Crown Land described in the Second Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road-diversions in connection therewith; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

Additional Land Taken for a Public School in the Borough of Hastings

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the additional land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the District of Hawkes Bay as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of additional land taken: 2 roods 38·46 perches.

Situated in the Borough of Hastings, being Lot 88 on deposited Plan No. 7622, which said parcel of land comprises part of the Heretaunga Block and is portion of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, H.B. Volume 121, folio 201 (Hawkes Bay Land Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion this 10th day of May, 1949.

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for a public school, and shall vest in the Education Board of the district of Canterbury as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of May, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
