Revocation of Price Orders Nos. 58, 139, and 830
Pursuant to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, and with the
authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce, the
Price Tribunal doth hereby revoke Price Order No. 58* relating to
exercise-books, writing-pads, and drawing-books for use in primary
schools; Price Order No 139† relating to texwax ; and Price Order
No. 830‡ relating to first-grade tennis balls.

Price Order No. 998 (Amendment No. 1 of Price Order No. 962)
(Spirits and Beer)
Pursuant to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal,
acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and
Commerce, doth hereby make the following amending Price Order :—
- This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 998, and shall
be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 962*
(hereinafter referred to as the principal Order). - This Order shall come into force on the 16th day of May,
- The principal Order is hereby amended by omitting from
paragraph (i) of subclause (4) of clause 5 the words “ or cordial ”
and the words “ of cordial ”.

Price Order No. 999 (Amending Price Order No. 665) (Apples and Pears)
Pursuant to the Control of Prices Act, 1947, the Price Tribunal, acting with the authority of the Minister of Industries and Commerce,
doth hereby make the following amending Price Order :—
- This Order may be cited as Price Order No. 999, and shall be read together with and deemed part of Price Order No. 665* (hereinafter
referred to as the principal Order). - This Order shall come into force on the 16th day of May, 1949.
- The First and Second Schedules to the principal Order, as set out in Price Order No. 997†, are hereby revoked, and the following
Schedules substituted therefor respectively :—
