Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block X, Belmont Survey District, for Housing Purposes

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for housing purposes; and notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Lower Hutt, and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 2 acres 2 roods 25 perches.

Being part Lot 12, deposited plan 915, being part Section 43, Hutt District, and being also all the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 312, folio 283 (Wellington Land Registry).

Situated in Block X, Belmont Survey District.

In the Wellington Land District ; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 128797, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in the Borough of Takapuna for Housing Purposes

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to take the land described in the Schedule hereto for housing purposes; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Takapuna and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

Notice of Intention to Take Land in Block XV, Mangamuka Survey District, for a Maori School

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1928, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a Maori school—and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken; and notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Horeke and is there open for inspection ; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Works at Wellington.

SCHEDULE

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken : 2 acres 1 rood 23 perches.

Being part Motukiore B No. 2B Block.

Situated in Block XV, Mangamuka Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 34415.)

The Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943.—Revocation of Notice of Intention to Take Land

WHEREAS, pursuant to section 24 of the Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, notice was given of the intention of the Minister of Lands to take under Part II of the said Act, the land described in the Schedule hereto, and a copy of the said notice was published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 67 on the 23rd day of December, 1948, at page 1607:

And whereas an objection was made by the owner of the said land in the manner prescribed by the said Act objecting to the taking of the said land:

And whereas the Minister of Lands has decided not to proceed with action to take the said land:

Now, therefore, the Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of subsection (4) of section 25 of the said Act, doth hereby revoke the notice of intention to take the said land.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that parcel of land situated in Blocks VI and IX, Corwar Survey District, containing three hundred and sixty-three (363) acres two (2) roods thirty (30) perches, more or less, being Lot 2 on plan deposited in the Land Registry Office as No. 12428, and being rural Section 7311 and part Rural Section 15548, and being the whole of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 482, folio 150 (Canterbury Registry).

The Servicemen's Settlement und Land Sales Act 1943.—Notice of Intention to Take Land

THE Minister of Lands, acting in pursuance of section 24 of the Servicemen's Settlement and Land Sales Act, 1943, hereby gives notice of his intention to take the land described in the Schedule hereto under Part II of the said Act, and specifies the 5th day of July, 1949, as the date on which possession of the land is required, and the 3rd day of June, 1949, as the date on or before which objections may be made under section 25 of the said Act.

SCHEDULE

CANTERBURY LAND DISTRICT

ALL that parcel of land situated in Blocks II, III, VI, and VII, Spaxton Survey District, containing two thousand and ninety-seven (2,097) acres two (2) roods twenty-two (22) perches, more or less, being Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, and Part of Lot 1, Deposited Plan 6230, being Rural Sections 30343, 30344, and 30345, and part of Rural Sections 17231 and 30342, and being the balance of the land comprised in certificate of title, Vol. 379, folio 13. (Canterbury Registry).
