Proclaiming Maori Land to Have Become Crown Land

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to section four hundred and fifty-four of the Maori Land Act, 1931, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, being satisfied that the purchase of the Maori land described in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the said Act, do hereby proclaim that the said land has become Crown land.

SCHEDULE

ALL that piece of land situated in Block II, Wainuioru Survey District, containing 28 acres 1 rood 3 perches, more or less, being part of the land called or known as Te Wera-a-Whaitiri No. 2c 1, and being the whole of the land comprised and described in Certificate of Title, Volume 451, folio 129 (Wellington Registry).

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of March, 1949.

Crown Land Set Apart for Road in Blocks VIII and XII, Pirongia Survey District

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby set apart for road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 126797, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of March, 1949.

Amending a Proclamation Proclaiming Land as Road and Road Closed in Blocks XLII, XLIII, and XLVI, Tokomairiro Survey District, Bruce County

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Land Act, 1924, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby amend the Proclamation dated the twelfth day of October, one thousand nine hundred and forty-eight, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 54 of the fourteenth day of the same month at page 1272, proclaiming land as road and road closed in Blocks XLII, XLIII, and XLVI, Tokomairiro Survey District, Bruce County, by deleting from the First Schedule to the said Proclamation the area described in the First Schedule hereto and substituting in lieu thereof the area described in the Second Schedule hereto.

4·9 perches : Being part Section 2, Block XLII, Tokomairiro Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 2404.)

SECOND SCHEDULE

4·9 perches : Being part Sections 2 and 3, Block XLII, Tokomairiro Survey District (Otago R.D.). (S.O. 2404.)

In the Otago Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 127677, deposited in the office of the Minister of Works at Wellington, and thereon coloured yellow.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, this 30th day of March, 1949.

Leasehold Estate in Land Taken in Block II, Belmont Survey District, for Better Utilization

A PROCLAMATION

PURSUANT to the Public Works Act, 1928, and section thirty of the Finance Act (No. 2), 1945, I, Lieutenant-General Sir Bernard Cyril Freyberg, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the leasehold estate in the land described in the Schedule hereto held by Richard Sievers, of Porirua, Farmer, under and by virtue of memorandum of lease registered in the Land Registry Office at Wellington under No. 16974 is hereby taken for better utilization; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eleventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and forty-nine.
